New Chapter Welcomes

11 October 2016

Andrew joins us as a Business Manager, specialising in Sales roles within food and non-food. Having worked in the pub trade for four years as a manager at Wetherspoons, he decided that working every Friday and Saturday night was not for him. After travelling and working in Australia for a year, he joined Poole Resourcing Ltd, where he spent five years specialising in the recruitment of sales people. In this role, he also managed a small team and had a wider responsibility for internal recruitment and training & development of new consultants. Following this, he moved to an RPO (Recruitment Process Outsourcing) company named WilsonHCG, where he spent two years as an international recruiter for various blue chip clients within the IT industry.

A big Liverpool FC fan, he enjoys attending every home match with his dad. He likes to travel and has visited many countries including Australia, Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam and South Africa. He also likes to take part in the odd extreme activity when the opportunity presents itself and has done shark cage diving, bungee jumping and skydiving!

Looking for a more challenging role and an office with a recruitment environment, Andrew felt the opportunity to join New Chapter was an easy decision! The positive atmosphere at New Chapter during his interview process as well a clear track record of success and growth led him to join New Chapter. His short term objective is to learn more about the FMCG industry, create a client base and then over time build his own team!

Based in the London office, this is Nick’s first job as a graduate. As an Associate Consultant, he will be specialising in sales roles within the delivered foodservice and food wholesale sector. He graduated from Lancaster University this summer, during which he completed a 12-month placement scheme at Aldi.

Nick is a big football fan and really enjoys going to the gym. He loves travelling and before joining New Chapter, he travelled around Asia over the summer. What attracted him to New Chapter was the culture within the organisation. After attending interviews at several recruitment firms, he knew for sure that New Chapter had the best company culture and working environment.

Good luck to both Andrew and Nick, from everyone at New Chapter!
