SUSTAINABLE FOOD BUSIENSS seeks a UK SALES MANAGER

My client is a health brand and social business. Their mission is to create demand for under-utilised natural products from small-scale producers in Europe and further afield- starting with the nutrient-dense superfoods.

Since launching in 2013, their ranges have become established within London's leading health food retailers and gone nationwide via Holland & Barrett. Their products are now sold in 12 countries around the world. The business is now seeking to further expand distribution, sales and impact!

The Role

As the UK Sales Manager you will take the lead on sales; helping to develop a robust sales growth strategy and to drive sales across different channels, including major multiples (JS/Waitrose/Tesco).

Your key responsibilities include:

Managing the Plan
You will co-create, own and deliver UK sales strategy, plan and budget.

Opening New Doors
Creating a dramatic uplift in sales by opening new doors within existing and new channels


Key Account Management
Further developing our business with existing accounts and new acquisitions, through excellent commercial and relationship management

UK Distribution
Driving increased penetration among independents via the companies network of UK distributors

What We're Looking For
A natural passion for health and wellbeing
Entrepreneurial, creative, passionate and high-energy individual who would be highly motivated to grow the brand.
The ability and desire to lead, manage and inspire
A strong, commercial track record of growing existing accounts, winning new business and delivering on targets
Educated to degree level and with proven experience in a similar role, in an FMCG food/drinks environment
Experience in negotiating with buyers within the key national retail multiples would be advantageous. Tesco/JS/Waitrose
