Job Description

Why Would You Want To Work Here?

Our client is an entrepreneurial, fast-moving food company with an incredible story to tell. Despite the business being young, its products are already in the majority of the major multiples, as well as a number of premium end retailers. With a passionate team in place, where you'll be guaranteed a friendly welcome, great support, but real autonomy as well, this is a place where your responsibilities will naturally expand as the company continues to prosper.

What Will You Be Doing?

This role is unique in the sense that it is incredibly far reaching and you'll have plenty of responsibility. However, typical duties shall include:

- Checking products and packaging against specifications

- Ensuring packaging/labelling is compliant with all guidelines and legislation

- Managing customer complaints over the phone, over via letters

- Notifying suppliers on complaints on a monthly basis

- Maintaining traceability of all products, through correct coding procedures

But The Most Exciting Part Of This Role?

- As you grow into the role and become a product expert, you'll be given the responsibility to travel across Italy to approve suppliers

What Are We Looking For?

- We need an Italian speaker - that's non-negotiable!

- You must be hugely passionate about Italian food - eating it, talking about it - this is going to be your life!

- You have to be engaging, with great communication skills - you'll be talking to suppliers regularly and have plenty of queries coming in, so you can't shy away from difficult conversations

- You must have gained a technical grounding in the food industry - even if it's just a couple of years, a familiarity with a similar sort of role, even if it's with less responsibility, is essential

If that sounds like you, apply now.

Whilst we would like to respond to all our on-line applicants, regrettably we are unable to do so due to the high volumes we receive. If you've not heard from us within two weeks, unfortunately on this occasion your application has been unsuccessful.
