Job Description

If you're an experienced Account Manager in the food ingredients or flavours industry and you're keen to work with a handful of very high profile global brands in your customer base, look no further.

We're looking for a Regional Account Manager (EMEA) for an established, yet very ambitious, ingredients supplier that partners with the majority of the top 20 food and beverage manufacturers worldwide. With a huge focus on sustainability, this is a company that has a clear message and although its growth rate has been impressive, the coming years look set to be exceptional.

You will be task-focused, with the commercial hunger to get the very best from your customer base - driving activity across a number of different categories (in the sweet sector) to ensure a strong project pipeline. Building relationships across a range of functions including R&D, Marketing and Purchasing, you'll coordinate the regional strategy for these global key accounts and be responsible for setting and delivering the annual budget.

Whilst our client boasts an industry-leading position, the competition is as fierce as ever, and as such, we are looking for someone who can demonstrate outstanding success in their career to date. Ideally, you will have grown a multi-national account base in a key account management capacity, although candidates who have grown blue-chip customers on a national level will also be of significant interest. This role is home-based, so candidates based from across Europe are invited to apply.

This is a highly technical area of the industry and as such, a technical background prior to moving into technical sales would be highly preferable. Perfect English is a must, but additional languages - particularly French and German - would be beneficial. Obviously, there will be a significant amount of travel due to the nature of the position.

Whilst we would like to respond to all our on-line applicants, regrettably we are unable to do so due to the high volumes we receive. If you've not heard from us within two weeks, unfortunately on this occasion your application has been unsuccessful.
