Role – Product Developer – Fresh Produce

Salary: Negotiable

We are currently recruiting for a Product Developer to join my client who are food manufacturer who have won several awards for product innovation. They are a highly successful business who have a lot of exciting projects going on at the moment and this could be a great opportunity for someone who wants to work in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

The role of Product Developer you will support the development team through innovation of products and processes, build strong relationships with both internal & external customers – understanding their needs and delivering to the set standard. Also, you will be required to meet with customers and present facts & figures to them confidently and with accuracy.

In addition, you will be keen to stay up to date in all current consumer trends within the food market ensuring you have a knowledge of comparative products in all major retailers and other outlets such as coffee shops.

As a successful candidate you will be experienced in managing an NPD critical path process within a Food category. A degree or HND in Food would be advantageous but not essential if the experience is all there. A great Product Developer will be enthusiastic about their sector, working knowledge of HACCP and be able to communicate across all functions.
