Job Description

Minimum knowledge, skill and experience requirements:

  • A proven track record of identifying and converting new business in the London On-Trade
  • Existing relationships with key decision makers within the on-trade
  • At least 4 years' wine trade sales experience
  • Current management of at least 80 accounts
  • WSET Level 3 (or equivalent)
  • Fluent English verbal and written communication skills
  • High level numeracy skills

  • Personality - The successful candidate must be confident, charismatic and well-organised, someone with an ability to work both autonomously and within a growing team.
  • Sales skills - A proven ability in identifying, opening and managing accounts in order to reach and ideally, surpass, sales targets.
  • Result-oriented - A complete focus on delivering targets via a high quality of work, whilst conforming to processes and deadlines.
  • Commercial Acumen - As innate ability to identify opportunities and develop strategies in order to negotiate new accounts and develop the trading relationship within existing accounts.

Salary/Commission & Benefits :

  • 40- 45k per annum (based on experience) + commission and bonus scheme.
  • 23 days' holiday (excluding public holidays), increasing to 25 days following two years' service.
