A unique opportunity has come up to work for a dynamic and fast-moving business in the beauty and gifting industry. They operate on an international level and offer a retail and online presence.

They are looking to bring on an experienced NPD Project Manager who is fast paced, dynamic and really knows the cosmetics industry.

Main responsibilities include: -

  • Managing NPD projects from concept to launch
  • Communicate initiation of projects and secure agreement on deadlines for activities with the responsible departments.
  • Co-ordinate business and sign off at key gates.
  • Proactively manage and communicate risk throughout the project life cycle in a timely manner to assist in resolving escalated issues
  • Work with teams to ensure adherence to timelines, communicating back to cross functional stakeholders when technical execution must deviate from agreed requirements
  • Prepare timing plans for projects, ranging from new product programs to small changes.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and ability to quickly modify timelines to reflect changes
  • Design and implement best practice program management, tools and processes to support operational performance. Support and lead process improvement activities.
  • Lead post-launch reviews

In order to succeed in this role, you will need: -

  • Experience of production/planning/project management and scheduling essential
  • Use of or understanding of MRP and creating BOMs desirable
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Exceptional communicator with the ability to positively influence business performance
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Broad-based commercial understanding
