Job Description

Position: National Account Manager

Salary: £40-55K, 10% bonus, car allowance

Location:North West- 2 days in the office

We have a fantastic opportunity available as a Key Account Manager with an international bakery company based in the North West. With a global turnover of €0.75billion and a UK arm that accounts for £35m, this is an ambitious company that has identified massive growth opportunities within the UK market.

The position would entail full P&L responsibility of the Sainsburys account worth c. 20% of the total UK turnover (branded and own label products). There is potential to be given extra responsibility for convenience accounts such as Nisa, Cost Cutter and P&H as well as the opportunity to break into new channels. They have a fantastic working environment with a close knit team that will provide in depth training and support for the role as well as ensuring full autonomy for accounts once the training process is complete. The succesful candidate will spend 2 to 3 days in the office per week with the rest out visiting customers or working from home.

The successful candidate will be an ambitious, tenacious individual who is degree level educated and has at least 4 years of FMCG sales experience. This would preferably be within food, although candidates with wider FMCG experience will also be considered. Prior knowledge of P&L process is essential as the role will include full management of company JBP’s, forecasting etc for the accounts.
