National Account Manager - Waitrose / Co-Op - SME snacking category leader

North West London based

Our client is a game changer in its category! They have developed a unique branded portfolio of products that have gained recognition not just in the UK but in Europe and further afield. As a business they have a simple aim; to provide great quality and innovative products to their consumers. Category leaders and now in their 4 th year of double digit growth the business is expanding and looking to add talent to its National Accounts team.

Reporting to the Sales Director, the main purpose of this role will be to manage a portfolio of Grocery accounts including Waitrose and Co-Op. You will have overall P&L responsibility for these and be the sole contact in terms of commercial development. You will have accountability for the day to day running of all aspects of the account including forecasting, pricing, liaising with buyers and future account development. Being an SME you will of course be involved in the wider commercial responsibilities including marketing and NPD/Innovation.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a dynamic, commercial professional who wants to further their career with a cool SME food brand. You will have an FMCG food/drinks background with 2-4 years' Account Management experience. Management of Top 6 Grocery accounts and previous P&L experience are both essential. You could be a NAE or JNAM looking for a step up. Self-motivated and driven with a proven track record of achievement showing quick progression through your career is a must.
