National Account Manager – Online (Ocado/Amazon/.com)

Salary: competitive basic (car, bonus, pension, private healthcare, healthy holiday allowance)

My client is at the forefront of a food revolution! Gone are the days of sugary snacks, poor quality ingredients and boring packaging! This multimillion European health food business has lead the way across the UK for a number of years filling the UK shopping isles with innovative, high quality products. The product portfolio consists of a combination of market leading and challenger brands! Over the past 3 years the business has seen double digit growth and is exceeding the £50m mark!

They are now looking for a National Account Manager to develop their Online Channel, working in the main with Ocado, Amazon and the other major retailer online shops. You’ll be working in one of the most exciting parts of their business and will have a real opportunity to shape their future.  Several of their products and brands are online and they’re now needing to really push the presence as the channel is expected to grow exponentially in a very short period of time and they need to take advantage of this.  You’ll need to be passionate about driving for success in an emerging channel and be able to take a long term, collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

You’ll take full P&L responsibility for the business E-commerce function and will responsible for driving for success and developing relationships with their customers (in main Ocado and Amazon). You’ll agree and execute JBP’s and will build and execute promotional and execution plans. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams on a variety of projects to ensure they are maximising the online function.

You

  • You will have a strong commercial skill-set having worked in FMCG food/drinks sales and you’ve worked in eCommerce with the likes of Ocado and Amazon!
  • You’ll be a true go-getter with an eye for what to go after in order to grow your business
  • You will be a super-star at building and developing relationships with customers in order to gain mutual success for the businesses
