Job Description

Have you had experience managing grocery accounts? Do you want to be an integral part of a successful sales team? Are you looking to work in a fast-paced sector?

Our client is an industry leading fresh fruit and vegetable supplier with a well established reputation in their market and a diverse portfolio of products that can be found across the major multiples. Due to continuing growth and expansion, they are in search of a National Account Manager to join their dynamic and high achieving sales team and to handle their largest and most strategically important account, Tesco.

Reporting into the Grocery Controller, you will have full P&L responsibility of 2.5m Tesco account and will be tasked with delivering on JBP's and strategic sales strategies. As it is such a fast-paced product area, you will also be involved in the planning and forecasting. This will be your chance to join a business that is enjoying exponential growth with scope to take on further multiple accounts.

What they need from you!

  • You will have had 3-5 years' FMCG fresh produce sales experience in a National Account or as an experienced Executive.
  • Full P&L responsibility of Grocery account, ideally Tesco but not essential.
  • Strong selling, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relations with internal and external customers.
  • And finally a passion for the fresh produce sector!
