Job Description

We are currently searching for a hungry and enthusiastic National Account Manager to join one of the UK's leading Food Manufacturers. Their products, which includes a broad range of chilled and ambient foods, both own label and brand, can be found in every major supermarket across the UK and most dinner tables at home! The business has been established for over 100 years and has great relationships with reputable organisations throughout Retail/Grocery, Foodservice and Hospitality sectors.

The role of National Account Manager will involve expanding sales and maximising margins of own label savoury products within a top Multiple Grocer. The range is largely pastry based and includes pasties, pork pies and various delicious deli products. You will have full P&L responsibility over the account which will require weekly analysis of major account EPOS data.

As a successful candidate, you will ideally have recent and up to date experience as a National Account Manager within FMCG and have had full P&L responsibility within a top 6 Multiple Grocer account. Ideally you will come from an, own label food background but it's not essential. What is essential is your personality and how you engage with your key customers. The successful candidate will be working within a lively, vibrant, inclusive and collaborative team dedicated to the success of the business as a whole.

It is essential that you are based in the East Midlands.
