There's not many food companies that have grown quicker than our client in recent years. Under the guidance of an experienced management team, the business is making waves in its field, both in the UK and overseas. Due to this extensive growth, there is now a new opportunity in the expanding team, for an experienced National Account Manager.

- Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will focus on a couple of high-profile national accounts, including Marks & Spencer

- Predominantly office-based, you'll be confident in making your own decisions - whilst support will be there when you need it, this is a company that encourages autonomy

- You will be a natural relationship builder. Due to the nature of the business, you will be dealing with stakeholders from a broad range of backgrounds and as such, a high level of emotional intelligence is vital to your success

The successful candidate will have managed at least one of the coveted top 6 retail accounts, and will be able to display strong figures in doing so. You will be a NAM who doesn't rely on just one route into your customer - but instead, build connections across commercial, technical and NPD routes. Experience in ambient food products is vital, as is some exposure to own label products.
