Overview of the role

Mallow and Marsh is expanding rapidly and we are looking for a highly talented, detailed and commercially savvy National Account Manager who is confident, entrepreneurial and has a true desire to roll their sleeves up and work for a start-up business. You will be given responsibilities for key accounts from day one including STARBUCKS, WH SMITH and BP!  

With a broad remit, you'll be:

  • Building strong relationships at both Head Office and end user level
  • Developing tactical strategies to increase distribution in existing accounts and maximize promotions
  • Actively seeking out new business opportunities and coming up with new initiatives to drive in store sales
  • Bringing the brand to life by devising targeted in-store activation, including point of sale, creative displays, promotions and collaborations

About You

You will be commercially astute and highly numerate with strong negotiation, organisation and analytical skills. A natural self-starter you will have a real passion for building business plus a truly engaging, dynamic and persuasive personality with real drive.

You will:

  • Have 2-3 years experience in an FMCG sales role within a food/drink start-up or SME
  • Working at NAE level or higher
  • Exposure to P&L is desirable
  • Be a good communicator who can make friends with everyone and their dogs
  • Have a naturally positive and resilient attitude. You thrive on a tough challenge and enjoy targets
  • Have the confidence to work on your own and spread the marshmallow love.
  • Be a strategic thinker with a strong drive for results, excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet tight timelines
  • Self-aware, open to feedback and willing to try new things
