Job Description

We are on the search for a Key Account Manager to join one of our clients who owns a small, premium portfolio of spirits brands.

Grocery partnerships are of fundamental importance to them and they are looking for a KAM who will support the Head of Retail in continuing to develop business with these partners and who will also identify and unlock the potential within Convenience.


Job Description:

  • Develop customer relationships and implement key account strategies to achieve volume, value, distribution and visibility KPIs across the Grocery & Convenience Channels
    • Support in the creation of client facing activation plans focussed on awareness, recruitment and ROS aligned to brand objectives
    • Support in ongoing forecasting, accruals, invoicing, promo submissions and P&L management
    • Manage agreed budgets including trading terms, promotional support, AMP investment
    • Work cross functionally with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain to ensure best possible delivery against agreed priorities and targets
    • Implementing Convenience channel strategy to ensure opportunity is unlocked. Explore new potential outlets for development of brands (CO—OP, NISA, SPAR etc)
    • Providing ROI analysis for all promotions and AMP supported activations
    • Monitor and report on customer performance . (RSPs, promo compliance, Sales Out, stock holding etc) 


  • Minimum of 3yrs experience in the UK Drinks market
  • Understanding of Grocery & Convenience market dynamics in the UK
  • High level of English is essential, other languages are valuable
  • Ability to identify business opportunities and translate into commercial actions supported by strong rational aligned to brand strategy
  • A self starter who thrives on autonomy
  • Strong numerical reasoning and analytical skills
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to use data to create convincing commercial propositions
