Job Description

Head of Out of Home (Wholesale, Foodservice, Highstreet, Convenience and C&C)

6 direct reports

This is an unique opportunity to drive the OOH strategy for one of the most successful UK FMCG food brands of the past 10 years! They have been devoted to making delicious, genuinely healthy products and have changed the way the UK consumer snacks!

You will be responsible for delivering overall sales strategy for the Out of Home Channel - OOH (Wholesale, Foodservice, High Street, Convenience and Cash & Carry) to achieve annual sales and profit targets. You will be responsible for managing and providing leadership for 5 national account managers, as well as taking direct account management of 1 or 2 key high street national accounts!

You will also be working closely with the UK Sales Director, Marketing Director and internal category management teams to deliver the overall plan to get more of their yummy products into peoples hands in the OOH channel.

The Role
The company is looking for someone at Controller level in Out of Home sales and who can drive the strategic sales direction of the businesses into 2019 and beyond.


  • Manage the Out of Home budget and take ownership of the channel strategy
  • Work with current customers to maximise presence and drive growth.
  • Identify opportunities across the High Street, Wholesale, Foodservice, Convenience channels for future growth
  • Deliver the NDP channel strategy annual revenue plan and woke with marketing teams during pre-launch
  • Direct management of two key National Accounts
  • Manage and lead a bright and hungry national accounts team

What we are looking for

  • A great Account Management track record in the OOH channel and comfortable with channel P&Ls. You will be excellent at building and executing sales strategies
  • Excellent proven man management skills, ability to lead, manage and coach the team. You will have managed National Account Executive level upwards
  • Experience of building SME food/drinks brands in the UK
  • Approaches problems with a can-do and positive attitude
  • Strong decision-making and negotiating skills
  • A genuine passion for healthy food and drink
  • Hands on approach and proactive
