A leading international pasta manufacturer is on the lookout for a Foodservice Manager UK & Ireland

My client started as small artisan workshop in a small Italian village, and today is the leader in the production of frozen pasta and sauces in pallet form for quality foodservice and catering, as well as frozen ready meals for the restaurant and bar sector. The have won many international awards for quality and innovation to confirm the company mission: to keep the original flavour of hand-made pasta as unchanged as possible. Recognised as one of the leading premium pasta brands used by chefs across the land the business is in real growth, due to this they are now looking to strengthen their commercial team and are now on the hunt for a Foodservice Manager

Reporting into the UK & Ireland Sales Manager this role will be pivotal in the growth of the UK business. The purpose will be to plan and carry out direct sales activities of products to UK and Ireland major accounts in accordance with the agreed business plans. Other duties include:

  • Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer /prospect contact towards achieving towards agreed business aims, especially managing personal time
  • Plan and manage personal business portfolio territory/business according to agreed market development strategy
  • Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods with relevant internal liaison to optimise quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction
  • You will be targeted to develop sales and increase range of accounts within the target sector of the UK Wholesale and Foodservice channels 

I would like to hear from you if you are passionate 'foodie' that has a successful sales background working in the FMCG food sector. Ideally you will have recent experience of selling frozen or fresh foods into foodservice and wholesale customers across UK. Innovation is the name of the game with this business so you will have come from a similar background where you are not just selling a product but working in collaboration with chefs and buyers to promote. Ability to work autonomously is a must.

*please note this is a fully homebased role so the ability to work with autonomy is a must!
