About the Opportunity:

Commercial Manager - JS / Tesco

C London

£45,000-£60,000 annual basic salary

20% bonus (opportunity to double this), pension, private healthcare, heavily subsidised Virgin gym membership,

How do they do it you ask?  Through energy, passion and bang on trend products (they actually created the category they now dominate). They now need a brilliant Commercial Manager - Grocery to join the team and be an integral part of their commercial function.

As the Commercial Manager - Grocery, you’ll be hands on with the following:

  • Working closely with the Head of Grocery, taking full P&L responsibility for 2 of their largest grocery accounts JS and Tesco
  • Owning the demand forecast on these accounts
  • Support on category data analysis – feeding back grocery insight to the business
  • Within 12-18 months you'll be targeted on developing into a senior level sales position

About You:

Not just any old Commercial Manager/National Account Manager required here. You’ll be self motivated with a strong work ethic, eager to learn about the business and contribute across the team. You'll also be:

  • A highly energetic individual with a joy of selling
  • Experienced in working with national grocery accounts and will have account level P&L responsibility. Must have 2-5 years with proven success
  • Experience of working in a SME environment is beneficial but not essential. If you’re fed up of the corporate hamster wheel and can demonstrate entrepreneurship we are all ears
  • Commercially minded with strong analytical skills
  • Table tennis skills would also be a big advantage! (not really, but they do need someone in the team who can beat their MD)
