Are you a commercial sales/category individual keen to move into a more strategic role? Are you passionate about genuine innovation? Are you a charismatic story teller who can bring insights and commercials to life?

This is an exciting opportunity that will be part of establishing a brand new team within an SME business! As Category Sales Manager you'll be the brand guardian for your category portfolio. You'll be responsible for setting the category sales plan (both short-term and long term), range planning, defining distribution objectives and building promotional plans. You'll build strong relationships with both sales and product teams internally as well as external partners. There is a creative element to this role where you'll strategise and execute exciting marketing plans based on seasonal events working with key retail partners.

This is a unique opportunity to work for a truly innovative business (with 3 new category launches planned over the next 12 months), take on a strategic, commercial and creative role and be part of establishing and building a new function within a growing business.

The ideal candidate will currently be a Category Sales Manager/National Account Manager working for a premium consumer brand. You'll be analytical by nature and have experience of working with a diverse retailer portfolio. You'll have a proven track record of increasing revenue by driving holistic business plans.
