Job Description

Our client is one of London’s leading suppliers of premium prepared produce and wild & foraged foods to some of the most prestigious kitchens. The family business was first established in the 19th century and has since undergone a major transformation to bring it into the 21st century whilst maintaining the core family values at heart.

A hugely exciting opportunity has become available as they are looking to bring an Account Manager into their sales team. They are looking for an individual who is passionate for good food and has experience suppling the finest food into the HoReCa channel across London.

Reporting into the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for…

  • Achieving targeted sales growth of an existing portfolio of high-end clients including; restaurant and bar groups, hotels, private members clubs and premium pub chains across London.
  • Building and developing the relationships with the decision makers at existing clients.
  • Day to Day to management of portfolio, handling customer queries and requests.

Your Experience:

  • You will have a minimum 18 months FMCG food experience, supplying premium hotels, bars and restaurants in London.
  • You will have a thorough understanding of the fine food channel, ideally experience working in either bakery, meats/fish/seafood or cheese.
  • You will be a proactive self-starter with excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Passion for high quality foods and cooking!

This is the ideal role for someone who is either working for a fine food business in sales or has previously trained or worked as a chef looking for their next opportunity working with fine food. Your excellent knowledge of fine food will help you to establish relationships with your high-end customer profile. This is a company on the rise with big growth plans!
